Welcome to the online portfolio of Tessa Lake which showcases my most recent work. I am a Swindon based artist often trading under the name Amatheya. I started my education in art at an early age and continued to study art and design to GNVQ level. Following my college education I continued to study independently for many years. In 2008 my goal of becoming a full-time artist was reawakened when I created a set of Christmas cards based on my pet rats. These were sold to members of the rat fancy across the country and were shortly followed by further designs. I am currently working in pencil, watercolour and digital media on a variety of projects, but am always interested in new commissions.
